Installed no issues there however my signal did not improve. Data reception is worse. Will drop back to mk6.

I odin'd that modem.bin onto my I317M and it killed my data connection completely. It is a good thing I have the means and knowledge to fix such things. Be careful guys, if nothing else have a very fresh full nandroid to fall back on if you plan to dabble in such things.

Do you need to update your bootloader in order to use the MK6 modem for ATT?

Reason I ask is because every time I flash it I get no signal or data.

What modem fo you have working now?? What bl are you on now? Im on the 4.1.2 bl and have flashed pretty much all the oldest and latest modems..
So no you do not need to upgrade your bl to run Mk6. You may have a bad copy..

I have the older 4.1.2 bl and can run up to MJ4 but not MK6. going to download again and test. Thanks for clarifying.

Not sure if they released another new one, but the latest Rogers was posted awhile ago here. But thanx for the effort...
Think it was from shaggyshunk if I'm not mistaken.
Plus I downloaded the official Rogers and Bell Roms from Sam mobile. When I get time I'll pull the modems and update the OP. Just been a lil busy with life itself...

Does anyone have the latest RIL(hopefully in a TWRP-able ZIP)? Is it still UCAMC3? There has to be a newer version, something that goes with either the MK6 or NE5 modem? I want to re-flash the RIL to see if that resolves my connectivity issues.

Yes modems can be flashed in recovery.. zip=twrp or cwm.. ?
