Well, just as you said. Up till a couple weeks ago. I used to get a pretty good solid signal at home. This is where it seems to be the weakest. Thought maybe it was my phone. Checked w att. Maybe a tower issue. They said np in area. But who knows if I can believe that? Did a fr..it was time anyway. No difference. So I'm at a loss. Idk what it is? I can at least try a new modem. So I will see if that makes any difference. Thank you for clearing it up for me. I do appreciate it.

No problem my friend. And it's best to ask B4 doing something to your phone. Anyway, any other issues please don't hesitate to msg me ok.
I'd say try the modem I linked you, see what happens with that ok. Cause you are on a really old old modem from Jan2013.

You ain't calling me a noob, are you? Cuz I ain't no noob! I just flashed a ROM that I didn't really research from a board I infrequently frequent (n7105) and then didn't look at the OP from my laptop rather than just the phone. But I ain't no noob!

When flashing the latest modem didn't wipe out the Mokee stuff, I ended up flashing the latest "stock" CM and shift 4.4 and voila.

See? Ain't no noob.

Thanks!

I received 2 voice mails. I am unable to listen to them because it says "no voice mail number on sim card". Any suggestions? Thanks! I did not find and answer to this question by reading the forum

I had that once, I had to set my VM number in contacts>settings. Let me see if I can figure out the exact steps I took to find and enter my voicemail number

For a temp solution, you can set your phone # as speed dial #2 and just long press 2 on your dialer and you can get to voicemail that way.

Btw, you really should have asked this in the ROM thread.

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have Note 2 Canadian model - originally locked Bell (got it in Nov. 2012) and just replaced it with a Note 4. It got upgraded along the way, I had the DN3 rom on it and now I need to go back to the original stock firmware so that I can sell it.

I downloaded the last image on this page - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SGH-I317M/ but after flashing it with ODIN, it boots to the SAMSUNG logo and just stays stuck there. I suspect that the boot loader must have been updated at some point prior to me taking it back to stock and that is causing this issue. I could be totally wrong however.

Anyway, the reason why I need to go back to stock is that the buyer who wants it is with Wind Mobile and I need to enable the AWS bands for that. My understanding is that the only way to do that is to take the phone back to stock and then follow these instructions - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2068041

Can someone please give me direction on how to move this further so that I can resolve this and give the phone to the buyer? TIA

Rogers Note 2 ~ SGH-I317M unlocked...

Thanks OP 10000 times :laugh:
thread#:1987541 --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1987541
I will post here, in case some one needs it
Rogers Note 2 ~ SGH-I317M ~ Android: 4.1.2 ~ ROM: I317MVLBMA3
===============================
I rooted my Note years ago using CFRoot.
To flash ROM, please follow the youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVrhNO__9JY
using all the files from thread: 1987541
files you might need: Kies 2 + ODIN3.07 + TWRP + ROM zip files
///////////////////////////////////////
Tricky thing: the latest TWRP from Google Play won't work on my phone,
so I used ODIN 3.07 to install open recovery TWRP , also used an old version of TWRP 2.7.1.0 ,
download this file - > twrp-2.7.1.0-t0ltecan.img.tar 7.5M
from link:
https://dl.twrp.me/t0ltecan/
After successfully installed TWRP, things will be easier, follow the video using Rogers Modem/Radios zip files
to flash ROM downgrade to: I317MVLALJ2
///////////////////////
You also need to install Kies from Samsung to make ODIN work, which is mentioned in the original thread.
If you use a PC, make sure you use USB com port on the back, not the front ones.
:D

Note 2 samsung account apks

ello, i have an at&t note 2 and in my mission to keep it as clean as possible i deleted pretty much everything. I don't use this phone anymore and i noticed just today that i have some s notes i want on my note 4 but the option to add a samsumg account doesn't work presumably because i deleted samsung stuff, any place i can get the stock apks and such without flashing a rom or anything? Yes i know i can do it with the computer program but this way is easier for me.

Edit: disregard this i finally found it, i suppose stayin up til 5 am messed up with my google fu.

That's what happens when your start messing with your phones and want something fixed. We tend to forget about time.
Glad you got it solved by yourself! ? ?
