Which modem are you looking for? Att/Rogers?Can someone post up the M3 modem, I can't get the link in OP to work. Thanks!
Try this then.ATT. I'll try it again in a bit, but when I click on it I get all these pop ups and add ons and not the actual file.
It worked because Bajan is a God among men....For some reason that worked. Thanks!!!
Judging by the number of AOSP Rom threads - I'd say that the vast majority of people, are more than happy with AOSP.I've just purchased a note2 SGH-I317M on Bell, coming from Galaxy s2. Love it so far, first things I've noticed is the amazing screen, easy to read and colors pop. Battery life is also great. Tried to kill the battery for a full cycle charge, it won't die!
I prefer stock android look myself but touchwizz has come a long way. Are there closed themes available for this?
I was also wondering because of the Exynos, how are AOSP based Roms/kernels in terms of stability, smoothness and battery life? On the s2 they were not even close to stock Samsung.
Any advice or tips would be very much appreciated

Which kernel would you recommend, the i9100 was a lot more simple because there was a thread for that specific variant.Judging by the number of AOSP Rom threads - I'd say that the vast majority of people, are more than happy with AOSP.
If you're looking for something close to stock - check out Cleanrom.
My personal favorite is Slimrom - but have a look at CM, AOKP and all the others - It's a subjective decision - SO, make sure that you have a Nandroid of Stock - (My preference for recovery is TWRP) And flash away

If you're talking about a 4.2.2 rom NEAK is good...Which kernel would you recommend, the i9100 was a lot more simple because there was a thread for that specific variant.
I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, thanks for the info

+1 to this^^^^^^^^^If you're talking about a 4.2.2 rom NEAK is good...
If you're looking at a 4.3 rom - I believe that the only custom kernel is Devil atm
But..... I'd start with the kernel that the DEV has built into the Rom - Devs are a lot smarter than I am![]()

The link that you posted is missing the actual post - but none the less - from the description of Chainfire's app - it looks good - but I haven't tried it - if you have a pc handy - I'd probably go that route - tried & tested results for me - Nothing negative to say about Chainfire's work - In ANY way!!Sorry Shaggy thought I was on a different post...smh at myself...lol...
Anyway I was going to use the "return to stock & clear flash counter" directions per link in the OP. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=
Instead of using Odin v3 to flash the Chainfire .tar file, I am wondering if I can just use Mobile Odin, then continue with the remaining instructions
