Perhaps hastily, I recently took advantage of a $415 Groupon for a refurb P905. The tablet is still in transit from Brooklyn.

Reading about screen flicker issues related to the battery connection, I'm wondering if I should just ship the tablet right back when it arrives. I've got 7 days to return the unit and only a 30 day manufacturer's warranty. Sounds like a very good chance I could start to see this problem, possibly within a few months after my warranty has expired. At that point, I'd either have to live with it or try repairing the battery connector on my own (having someone experienced do the soldering).

I'm just trying to figure out what my chances are of getting a lemon. If Samsung isn't properly addressing the battery connector during refurbishment, I'd have to think my chances of seeing this problem are pretty good. Am I being overly pessimistic here? I've wanted to buy this unit for a long time, but I don't want to throw money away.
