Reinstall 4.4 OTA?

I'm a bit confused. So I installed 4.4.2 via OTA, then a custom 4.4.2 ROM. I want to go back to complete stock OTA but all of the threads I have read for 4.4.2 OTA say "You must be on full 4.3 before flashing!!!" My question is, how do I reinstall stock OTA 4.4.2 if one is on a 4.4.2 custom ROM?
