The first post is not clear enough about this new Rom using Froyo. Is it completely MotoBlur? All google Apps work? Is recovery or custom recovery working?

as far as i know, it is an offical rom so its full motoblur, google apps do all work if you add them with a zip update. and recovery is working aslong as usb debugging is turned off

Now the best way is to use the official unmodified chinese 2.2 froyo rom, and apply the new SuperOneClick root from here :

And also add the market by zip upgrade.

Working well for me, all is working, camera inclued, just add the market zip upgrade

I've been looking for, and to translate you must change apps one by one, or directly translate it. I'm not sure if this could cause problems, but I can translate some apps with someone else helping (there are lots of things to translate).

all eclair roms works and 2.2 milestone 2 too. my pc too. my tv TOO. but not my froyo.
only chinese dont work. neither original nor modded.connects to the router even out the waves on the top bar but nothing works.

Mostly I think like you also, but then I think that sometimes its hard to find the right answer on your questions. Sure we know it all has been answered jet, but others don't see it as a useable answer. The more moron questions you answer, the more moron will find a answer....hopefully

I got to the part where it says installing update, and now my phone isn't doing anything. I've been waiting for like 20 minutes and still nothing. Yes my phone is rooted, this is my first rom.

Edit:Yeah, I just removed my battery and started my phone back up because i gave up and.... all my stuff is lost........... :'(

Edit:Oh and I just tried to flash a 2.3 rom for the defy, it worked perfectly, its just this that won't work.
