Oh.. does that rule out 2.2/2.3 ROMs unless Moto release a newer kernel in their own ROM?

Tenfar you are great! I'm italian and for now work very very well! All too smootly, i re-rooted with z4root and overclock at 1ghz/66vsel. Quadrant score is 1409.
1 bug for now: fc voice search, how i do? Thanks a lot man!

But, no ONE tried it i guess!
Everyone tells this, but no one write what realy happens if you create a custom rom with new kernel!!

Hi,

great job, i've just use this on my defy but using System recovery to flash, instead of Clockwork MOD (it doesn't work on my side....)

Testing quadran @1450, speed is improved, perfect for me.

Also i've just saw that root explorer is intergrated, NICE !

Upon flash, my 3G connection & android market don't work. Still checking what happened... Asia set.

You dont have root permission. after flash the rom, install z4root,go to system recovery and install it. Reboot and work everyting. Hi.

I've followed this step :
root with z4root
Flash with rsd lite with noblur service rom ( with this one JRDNEM_U3_2.34.1_DEBLUR_P3_SIGN_SIGNED_UCAJRDNEMARAB1B80AA02B.0R_USAJORDANRTCEE_P029_A019_HWp3_Service1FF.sbf ) ==> not needed but i'was already done it...

installing system recovery ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=875233 )
make a backup
copy this zip rom file to sdcard and flash it with system reovery
make a second backup.
root again

Now i've BlueGinger 2.3 UI ROM with all feature without BLUR and system recovery working well.

System speed is inproved, i don't meet any bug yet, quadrant is more than 1450 without cut off any application (but oc to 1250mhz)

Has the JIT become more stable for the defy? I've read that it was unstable. Is this still true on the new rom?

Solved. Uninstall app with titanium backup and download from market voice search.reboot. Simple

what all in this ROM is actually in Chinese? Is it a major problem for those that don't speak/read Chinese? Very tempted to install, but I'm afraid that it would just be a time waster. Thanks in advance.

Mha far I have not seen a word in Chinese, also the first screen where you choose the language.

Fast, stable, no bugs founds as yet. If i was in China I'd shout you a Tsingtao.. Installed with Motoblur, don't mind though.

Edit: Only Chinese characters I have seen are the ones next to the root explorer app.. nothing else at all..

Unistall with titanium backup, uninstall from application manager, install market's version. No one chinese font else. ;-)
