i can highly recommend lineage os 14.1, been using it as my daily driver ever since i got my mi max 2 and it doesnt disappoint

still, ive signed the petition, cuz open kernel = open development

and this is an absolutely fabulous device! cant wait to see what the mi max 3 will look like!!!

iirc the mi max 1 kernel source was released approx. 5 months after phone release (may 2016/oct 2016). mi max 2 has been available since june 2017, so were talking 6 months now, heading towards 7...

It looks bad then.

One thing is sure, if they don't release kernel source, this is my LAST Xiaomi phone. And i would dare to say I am not the only one who thinks like that.
