Currently SDIO-AUTO is set in factory defaults. If I set MD725 or SD-968 I'm unable to connect to HU BT.

hope someone can help me, I have a px6 car stereo I have installed various versions of mtcdialer all versions works but only from Google app when I try to make a call with the command "ok Google" the call does not start, why? Thanks

I have a Dasaita Vivid 10 HD head unit. with the default version of Google app version 10.65.11.21 when i ask google to call a number in my contatcs it keeps saying " sorry, i didn't understand" and does nothing

I have MCTdialer 1.2.3 installed and have also tried with 1.3.0 with the same results, cleared cache each time before uninstall and reinstall.

With the latest version of the google app 13.2.19.23 a call button pops up and only dials if i manually press it after selecting MCTdialer as the default call app.

I obvioulsy would like it so i dont have to manually press anything and just use voice to make the call.

any ideas how to fix this?

edit, sorry my head unit is MCTE_HA_V3.78_1

Thanks for your help but no luck, im thinking it may have something to do with which version of the google app is installed?

I already had the google assistant version installed thats in the video.

Still get the "Sorry, i dont understand" with the older versions of Google i have tried and only the latest Google app version 13.2.19.23 seems to bring up the phone icon with call button. unsure if theres others that may work?

hi, i cannot install any old versions of the google app for some reason, i uninstalled the latest version which then defaulted to factory version of 10.65.11.21

when i try install older versions it gives me App not installed message after trying to install

I don't know, did you try to disable automatic updates on google play? Did you delete in Google? Everything is in the video. You can try disabling protection against malicious applications using Google Play Protect.

Did all that and still no luck, it doesnt seem to let me install any versions older than the factory version.

cannot delete google fully but i have uninstalled updates to go back to 10.65.11.21. this version just says "sorry i don't understand" when i try make a call with voice.

the closest i get is the latest version of google pops up a phone button but i have to manually press it for it to dial with mctdialer.

I had everything working in my other car with a Dasaita MAX 10 HD, but since the car was destroyed in an accident i cannot remember what versions of the software it came with, bought it in dec 2020

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else. Perhaps try to install Hal9k mod5, Francesco Francy has it installed. I recommend you buy the Mod 5.02 update, the accuracy of gps is now 1 meter, originally 12 meters. It's perfect.

ok i got it working flawlessly, grabbed a random version of google being 11.4.9.21.arm64 and it works.

no more pushing a button i just say "call xxx" and it dials instantly.

there maybe newer versions which work but since i got it working im not going to mess with it any more

dont really want to mess with roms, only just bought the unit and it came with Vivid .
never messed with roms before so scared it will break something.

Good Evening folks,
since google update you have to use the 1.3 or the 1.2.3 mtcdialer.
Uninstall previous version and wipe the cache before and reinstall one of this.
Then use google assistance to make a call, e.g. call mom and press the button with "call" until a window open, asking for using which dialer app should be used. There choose "mtcdialer even".
(You remember, this was previously done with google app himself.)

However, one little Horse shoe it has:
Beside the bt connection, it need now an active network. For this use your phone hotspot function. And don't worry it seem only there is a need for network having available is registered but without using it.

i wasn't brave enough to try others since this one was the first one i got to work after being frustrated for weeks trying to figure out why it wouldnt work.

I disabled google play after getting and updating all the apps i need and use. Haven't had an issue with it updating.
