just tested it, runs much smoother than the original blur-poisoned OS.

but needs some time to get configured, few apps already installed.

personally i'm missing the messaging and contact widgets from blur.

It's based on 2.34 but i've the 2.51... This is the real problem...

Before i try to install this i have a few questions. Is it possible to return to the Original Version of android that came installed on my phone, if yes how do i do this and secondly do i have to use recovery to install this?

I did it with a German Defy @ uk rom 2.51 tested rooted and the handler has rom some bugs, youtube does not play videos, music + video player not working, no email app (only the gmail is integrated) umts does not work out for all users Android-help forum.
but it is super fast, would be fun without the bugs

flash this via rsd lite and it should work: 2.51boot.zip
i had a 2.51 the flashed this rom and then the file above and problems gone.
this is the best rom because i have root acces over adb with this so i can use android commander todo any thing. thanks handler

I'm trying to flash this rom and am having issues with moving it into the correct folder. I have droid explorer on my comp and am trying to get into the backup folder but it keeps saying it's an invalid file path.

It never asked me for superuser permission for my computer is there a way for me to change that? I think the computer doesn't have permission.

i was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me how/if i can restore the original t-mobile (UK) firmware if i need to return the phone or if this ROM doesnt run correctly?
