How come you can't just find the .img of the unlock sign and just DELETE it?

really? if it were that way, don't you think it would have been done already?

if i remember right, the lock is not a separate image. i think its additional data that is attached to the four colored cross image and the extra data is only read and displayed after you unlock.

Yes I know its not that easy, I just wanted an explanation

The explanation is - this lock is nothing and meaningless, getting rid of it gets you nowhere - still, when booted into recovery, the phone reads "UNLOCKED" in capital pink letters. And you can't do a thing about it, since it looks to be in HW (might be a fuse, for example).

How come you didn't search before posting?
