@Pikaone41 Hey, Im in the same exact situation. My phone came with 12.0.5.0 RKBEUVF firmware from vodafone for some reason.

If I unlock bootloader -> flash global eea rom V12.5.1.0.RKBEUXM -> relock.

Will this brick the phone?? or it will lock fine?

Note my phone model is M2011K2G.

If I can do that can you tell me what tools you used to do this process?

With ADB : fastboot oem lock, but your phone will be wiped
Does this work with SKBMIXM with the current version 13.0.1..0 SKBMIXM?

I came previously from 12.0.1.0 RKBEUOR - I unlocked the bootloader and flashed month ago to 12.5.3.0 (RKBMIXM) - all worked fine.
i received 2 further updates
- MIUI Global 12.5.9 Stabil (12.5.9.0 (RKBMIXM) and
- MIUI Global 12.5.11 Stabil (12.5.11.0 (RKBMIXM)

End of february 2022 I recieves MIUI 13 - MIUI Global 13.0.1.0 Stabil (13.0.1.0 (SKBMIXM) - current version.

What I would like is to re-lock the bootloader - Is this that simple? Does "fastboot oem lock" work also with MIUI 13?... or do I need Android 12 and the original fastboot-rom (miui_VENUSEEAORGlobal_V12.0.1.0.RKBEUOR) to reflash it with Mi-FlashTool with the tic by relock bootloader?

note: I edited this post and corrected MIUI instead of Android, thx @Pikaone41

It's not android 13, it's miui 13 ( android 12) . If I was you I will flash the 13.0.4.0 SKBEUXM and relock it without any problems. Fastboot OEM lock.

I think the most important acronym in the firmware. EU. Flashing the RKBEUXM should therefore not be a problem. Even without the bootloader unlock. OR only means that provider-specific functions are built in. If you don't know them or are unimportant, the XM works just as well.

    Try this tool.
Connect the mobile phone to the PC, start the tool. It checks your cell phone and offers you a compatible ROM.
So I flash all Xiaomi with the bootloader closed.

xiaomi tool says i must unlock my bootloader to flash the XM version, no problem still 50hrs and it will be unlocked. the most important things to me is to re-lock after this. i'll try "flash all lock.bat" and pray to dont brick my phone.
If you had to unlock the bootloader to flash the XM, I wouldn't relock again. That would surely lead to a brick.
