Question Relocking Bootloader via Mi Tools

Greetings Poco users, I just decided to relock my bootloader, but from my experience, on my last Redmi 7 when I did it, my phone turned to "Lock Mode" and after all I had to unlock it again. Is it completely alright, or you have any idea how I can do it?

I mean you can re-lock without worry as long as you are running the stock OS and configs. If you try the same while running a custom ROM it would just hard brick your device. As suggested by the user above, Mi Flash Tool (the one you use to flash fastboot ROM's) has an option to lock the bootloader as well, very simple process.

As suggested by the user above, Xiaomi Flash Tool (the one you used to unlock the bootloader) has an option to lock the bootloader as well, very simple process.

Xiaomi flash tool and Miflash unlock are two different software.
When you relock the bootloader with Miflash tool you flash a rom and relock.
Miflash unlock as its name suggests is only used for unlocking.
You can use Mi Flash tool with any Miui rom by relocking or not.
obviously does not work with an AOSP rom.

Thank you, I will try it when they release new build for EU version which is my stock ROM.
