...im facing a bug i never dd in the previous versions after updating to v3.0.203:
GameToolkit doesnt work at all, actually after launching it nothing happens at all, no floating buttons, just nothing!
1.i updated OTA succesfully
2.i even downloaded the *.iso and made a fresh install and still the same problem.
.....
is anyone else having a similar problem with this?
I have this same issue. Does nothing at all.

Any idea if sound through HDMI works yet??? Like I've posted before, games don't mean squat without sound...
I was told by Remix Staff via email that this issue will not be entirely resolved anytime soon and is due to how different monitors handle sound for their devices which are not recognized by Remix OS. It's likely they don't even have access to all the current, and old, monitors that have been on the market to remedy this. I hope it does because I have to plug in a headphone sound system from like 1998 to get sound on my desktop computer.

Today I finally installed Remix (B2016083002) to my HDD, almost everything is OK.
I can access to my other disk partitions, what is great, but on every partition it creates /Android/data and /Android/obb folders with another subfolders for every app. Folders are empty, but why they are created, can I delete them?
And other issue is, when I boot to Windows, time is wrong...

Ive been wanting to fix the time issue for awhile. Someone gave me a fix regarding unchecking something in sound settings in Remix but it didnt seem to work. I even rebooted to windows, set time, went bacm to remix (to ensure option was deactivated) and back to windows to no avail.

About to look into sound grub fix for my desktop

Type in the command line you see on the picture -> hit Enter -> check if it will output a loop of same lines. Shoot some pics of these or make a short video.
Also have in mind that Remix will most likely NOT boot if you have external display attached to the laptop before Remix OS logo appears.
Here is a picture of where the loop ends (right before it loops again). Again, nothing but power and ethernet connected and the last bootable build for me was 201.

Since the update on 15/08 get an error when trying to install - "Intel powerclamp does not run on family 6 model 23. Start updating...".

Am I to assume support for older devices has now been dropped or is there something I can change to allow installation of the 3.xxx versions?

Same issue with the 30/08 update. Grateful for an answer from someone in the know!

@WASasquatch @gordo1701e Google audio/sound output selection in grub.
You should be able to preconfigure where the sound should come from by just applying a parameter and proper value in grub.cfg file.
Some of us managed to play sound via HDMI this way.

@Vioner would you be able to post a sample of your grub.cfg that u managed to get sound working with hdmi? I ask because i've tried many different options and none seem to work.

Everything works fine apart from wifi and screen brightness.

What needs to be done for someone to sort this out? Beer money?

That worked, but it has to be entered every single time. This line needs to be added by default in the next release.
