I am very happy to say that thanks to the new uefi installer everything went great installing to my Next book Flexx 11 everything seems to work except audio, Bluetooth and YouTube videos won't play. I tried a car game to see if I could steer using the gyro and it worked. Also want to mention I ran it through hdmi to my TV with no problems other than no audio. I imagine if audio gets fixed it will wirk thriugh hdmi as well. This bug with Intel realtek audio is major and needs to be addressed there are more without sound using this than not.
I love it. Stable and running great. I can wait on all else But sound. No audio is a deal breaker.
Keep up the great work it good to see work being done on this and with major success

For Screen brightness issue, you can use Twilight app. It automatically adjusts your device's brightness (color temperature) over the course of the day, reducing the harsh whites and blues as the day progresses. It's extremely useful and scientifically authentic app. Even I prefer it to f.lux in my windows pc.
thanks, I'm actually using chainfire's Lumen app for that purpose.

Sent from my T100TA using XDA-Developers mobile app

@Sentario you mean like install Remix and Ubuntu both at once? Why? -.- U can just install it yourself.
We certainty can't make Remixubuntu

Well Ubuntu has an OS for Android and if there was a way to have the Ubuntu Android OS mixed with remix it would rock... Ubuntu is doesn't allow apk but can run it but something is stripped to prevent apk since it's actually running on Android 4.4 .... Just a thought and I'm not sure but Ubuntu Android OS may not be open source but it would be kewl if it ran inside remix

It's no longer maintained since 2014 and I'm not surprised. 2 systems running natively on one machine simultaneously... with no virtualization... using one kernel... thanks, I'll pass.
I don't mean to be rude, but I can't see any reason for making that happen.

Trying to mix systems together is simply a waste of time. You either make one independent creation or a failure.

I do understand emulting a system within a system as it saves time and enables easy testing environment for developers.

You can run some ubuntu/linux apps using Termux app which is preinstalled on Remix.

@majee12 it's ok, you just need to wait. It takes a long time on my Asus T100TA too. It will eventually start updating.
If you are talking about .204 update, then please for the future use the according thread. This one is for .203

I think using Freedom app will be a great choice, taking into account the recent updates
