Remove pre-installed screen protector?

Has anyone removed the screen protector that comes pre-installed on the device? Does the screen have an oleophobic coating underneath? Mine is starting to detach at the bottom due to the constant swiping up gestures.

Has anyone removed the screen protector that comes pre-installed on the device? Does the screen have an oleophobic coating underneath? Mine is starting to detach at the bottom due to the constant swiping up gestures.

I removed it as soon as I noticed it (which was day 1). I hate them as they dull the screen. No idea about the coating but the back gets FAR more smudgy than the front!
