Does anyone know if there is a way to completely remove the status bar in miui? I know you can in cm7 so I was wondering if anyone knew how or if we can?

This would not remove it, it would just force close like crazy since it's integrated into framework.
By using another launcher, you can hide it.

Well that's why I want it removed is because I'm using launcher 7 and it doesn't look well with it. I can only hide it when I'm on my homescreen but once I open messaging or any other app it comes back
