[removed] XPERIA R3A Camera with AutoFlash & GeoTag: CAB installer

Some people like me don't want to flash a new ROM but want all of the latest SE's R3A ROM goodies into our Xperias
I prepared a CAB that will install the newest Sony Ericsson Xperia R3A Camera software to the phone. I have tested it on NAM/UK R2A ROM and works OK !!

UPGRADES:
This is what you get over the current R2A camera software:

• Auto Flash option

• GeoTagging

CAB FIXED 01 APR 09, NOW FOR NON-ENGLISH DEVICES TOO

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Downlaod link down

IMPORTANT: FOR NON-ENGLISH USERS, HOW TO MAKE IT WORK:
This is the WWEnglish (0409) camera software, but it can be easily adapted:
- Install the CAB
- Go to /progam files/XperiaCamera/Languages/
- Delete (or rename or move) the old Camera0---.dll
- Take note of the 0--- portion: that's your country/language code
- Rename the new Camera0409.dll to your language code
(eg.: for spanish -> Camera0c0a.dll - Full list of country/language codes in post 19, page 2)

Can people test their GeoTagging to see if it's correct for them.
I'm finding mine is getting East confused with West, and putting my photos in the North Sea.
eg: http://www.flickr.com/photos/artesea/3397692505/meta/
Just wondering if those on the East are getting West values instead, or we are both getting East (could even be a North/South bug in there)

May be a stupid question, but how can I exactly see, if the new camera-app actually runs? I don't see any change (same with the new panel-manager). Is it possible that I have to change some reg-keys in my German ROM (had to do this with the Growing Panel)? Please help me out of this misery

My "Xperiance" with the new camera software:

1- yes there's a 0409 DLL in the /program files/XperiaCamera/ folder, try renaming the new one (for spanish is 0c0a) to your country/ language (I posted a full languages codes list on the Youtube app thread)

2- for geotagging, I first updated quickgps, then got a full sat fix with google, and then I tested the camera

Oh yes I tested it on X1a and it works
This is the WWENGLISH version, as I stated before, I have tested it over UK ROM (WWE X1i) and NAM ROM (WWE X1a)

in a different thread someone said to change the shutter sound file name in the camera folder, that makes no sound when u take pic

I stand corrected. If you change to filename to reflect your country code, it does work.

Auto flash is listed as "Not available" tho. But the geotagging works. So thnx

beim klick auf die kamera taste startet die anwendung in /programme/XperiaCamera/...lösch einfach den ordner und guck auf dien handy, weil du dann auch Programm Files/XperiaCamera haben wirst...kopiere diesen in den ordner Programme und dann wird immer diese anwendung gestartet^^...ist leider englisch, obwohl man die eine dll datei in 407 ändert^^

I only had access to the english files (Ich weiss !! es tut mir leid...) I am looking for the spanish files too

And yes again the whole foder can be copied manually
The CAB was meant to make things easier for all of us, but it has the stck english files only... I will update the first post with the country/language codes list

The original german camera407.DLL should be deleted manually and then the new camera409.DLL should be renamed to 407 (german)

There is a way, you just need to edit the registry.
