go back to the folder and rename the dll into his original....Camera0409.dll
now start your camera and go to the settings
praxis test finished
i hope you will then understand...why you have to rename the file^^

i said if you dont rename that thing...you wont see any letters in the settings of the camera...every thing will be empty i tested it with my german rom^^ because i wanted to know why i have to rename the dll, when it doesnt even change the language xD

yes but so i will not setting the advanced settings, couse all fields will be empty also... however it seem almost clear that at this moment, camera is and still to be in english only... so... no other words are necessary to find a way to set the cab in other languages... i don't know why so many post about the way to set the camera in other laguages... it's impossible!!

HOW TO TRANSLATE THE NEW ENGLISH CAMERA CAB TO YOUR OWN LANGUAGE:​

1- Copy Camera.0409.dll to your PC
2- Unsign the DLL's certificate with baniaczek´s unsigner app
3- Edit the DLL with Reshacker, go to the dialogs strings and change every menu text from english to your language, save the edited DLL
4- Sign the DLL with a private developer certificate using adexxx's File Signer
5- Copy the DLL back to your device changing 0409 for your own language code

Piece of cake, ain't ??

NOTE: You will need "sdkcerts" installed in your device or your phone will refuse to accept/use the new DLL

I bet Sony will release R3A BEFORE I finish translating 5 or 6 languages...

so I see no point on translating it: not worth the effort/time IMHO

True, but still I'm unable to get even english language. Whatever I do with damn dll file I get empty menus.

i think that you should know that here in italy there is not a true official R2a ROM, after one year...but only a leaked ROM, so you can image how terrible is the situation with the italian firmware developers... and we are one of the first country in the world by number of cell phones... i'm a bit angry with SE italy, for this reasons, so i prefer working now for this things that waiting at almost 2 years for a decent fully release..

every one could translate it in is language and upp it here so we would be very fast finished^^...but i cant do something xD

Using GENERIC_NL R2A (dutch language)
At first i forgot to change the .dll name and in the settings menu the 2nd setting was GPS. I thought nice its working, than i clicked it wrong!
It showed a list with on and on the second row off and you wont believe it but ut had even a third and fourth line saying B/W and Sepia. (i guess just the title was wrong most likely effects). Thought that was funny.

But then i figured to change the .dll file and all was ok, but the language of the camera is English now. But i don't mind.


To report of the new functions
Geotagging: works perfectly and position is correct (very precise)
Auto-Flash: work perfectly also when its light enough no light, and when it gets dark enough automatic searchlight and when taking photo it flashes just like if you turned it on yourself. No more going into mnus for fast pic.

I don't know how to use geotaging so anyone can tell me how? I see a satelite icon but don't know how

In theory if you are seeing the satelite icon it's working* (although I suggest either running Google Maps to first to ensure you have a fix, or waiting a minute or two).
Then when you take your pictures the EXIF info will including the lat and long of your location.
Sites like Flickr will allow you to view the EXIF and even plot the photo on their map.


* if anyone from SE is reading this, can you make the icon flash whilst it finds a fix?

I have only to rename in languages camera file to 0c0a and delete the other file that have this extensions of course first delete or you can not rename the new one....
And boila it works all
And i must add that now we can make zoom in 3Mp mode that is fantastic finally sonyericsson is listen to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The picture not blurry anymore too....And auto flash....nice

DLL EDITADO A ESPAÑOL, PARA LA NUEVA CAMARA
Descomprimir -> copiar a /Archivos de programa/XperiaCamera/Languages -> Reiniciar el teléfono
INSISTO ES SOLO UNA PRUEBA, FAVOR PROBAR Y REPORTAR

Flashed spanish ROM to test over it: not working... (DLL is accepted but spanish text is not diplayed)
I am leaving the DLL up just to see if somebody else want's to give it a try and finds what went wrong

I have a problem with my translation.
I've translated everything and i think everythings set right. But it doesn't work. Everything is written correctly in the DLL, but it doesnt show any text in my phone
What did I do wrong.
