Removing light scratches from a gorilla glass?

Hello! So Ive been researching this topic a lot and I kidna do not know what to think about it. I've read that you should not do it and I've read that some people tried it and it worked well. But the thing is that I have S6 edge+ and it has really light scratches on the top of the display that are visible ony under direct light from the angle. My friend works in company that manufactures optics for military,cameras and other stuff and they have special product for lenses polish so I asked him to bring me some. I have a galaxy S4 I might try it on before if it actually works but I want to ask you guys what you think about it? Might it work and erase these light scrateches you cannot even feel with your nail? The thing I am scared about is that the polised area will feel a bit different than not polished area if there is some kind of layer on the glass which I dont really know.

Yes I was looking into this. Light scratches are removable but you will remove the oleophobic coating as well which isn't always bad depends on your preferences. But yes only very light scratches are beatable unless you try something drastic like a machine but it gets dodgy and I've never seen it done well. Screen protectors are the way
