Not sure if this is the correct forum but mods please move if needed.

Need to restore root on my HTC U11 Oreo for Pie update.

Guess this will be straighforward but for the life of me (getting old) I can't remember how to do this.

When I originally rooted I:
Unlocked the bootloader
Booted into recovery (did not flash it just booted e.g. fastboot boot twrp-3.2.3-0-ocn.img)
Backed it up
Flashed Magisk.

Do I simply unisntall Magisk or are there other steps to perform to get root back?

Are u asking how to install twrp then magisk or are u asking how to uninstall magisk, if u uninstall magisk u loose root, I quess the best way to remove everything and start with a clean slate is to flash the appropriate ruu

Flash Magisk uninstaller and you remove Magisk completely, and therefore root... Simple search for "full unroot" should get you places, too...
