hey! GRATIEND users should realise that the gratiend rom has HTC's camera with face detection and also CAR PANEL app!
these functions should be added into this rom!
could Blay0 and cryshop help to incorporate these two thingy into the new rom.
it would be perfect!

A big diffrient between 2.1 and 2.2 is a2sd. A2sd is the normal function in 2.2. so why do we have to use DarkTremor A2SD scripts?
And why doesn't 2.2 is not contain Senses like other fone?

This is the only ROM with the new kernel and radio for Froyo.

Anyway, it seem way more responsive than stock 2.1 and slightly smoother than CM6 nightlies. I get 915 score for quadrant which is not bad at all.

Wow!

I just runned a benchmark (quadrant) on my legend with Azure ROM (Froyo, CM6) and got 450 Points. I'm happy with my current ROM, the speed is fine. Does the Vodaphone ROM really feel like double speed?

Did anyone have experience with Azure and has this Stock ROM now?

So...have you partitioned your SD Card?

If not, do it via Rom manager, after rebooting, plug your phone to PC with an usb cable.

It will tell you what to do in there.

If you partitioned your SDCard before flashing A2SD rom, you wouldn't have to do anything.
If you see my earlier post, that i never did anything like partitioning/formatting of Ext for APP2SD to work. But i did normal format operation earlier(2/3 months back) through my phone itself(Unmount and then using format SD card option).

But now i can see angrybird and docstogo sitting in my SD card( though i couldn't see through ES file explorer, but in Manage application->on SD card list these 2 programs)

Hi,

I think, you are using FroYo's native AP2SD and not DarkTremor's one!

FroYo save's the apps on the normal FAT32 partition of the sdcard - i think, they go into the .android secure folder!
DarkTremors AP2SD goes a bit further - if you have a ext2 or ext3 partition on the sdcard, android will be fooled in the way that this ext2/3 partition is seen as 'internal memory' and all apps, even widgets, and also the dalvik cache will be installed automatically on this 'internal memory', the ext2/3 partition.

While using DarkTremors AP2SD, don't be fooled by the 'move to SDcard' option within the apps - if you use this, you will use native Froyo AP2SD and the apps are NOT one the ext2/3 partition!

You can not move all apps to SDCard with Native Froyo A2SD. If you use adb to setInstallLocation default to Fat32 partition forcing all apps to SDCard, you may run into lots of troubles.

When you are mounting your phone as Disk drive, apps are on your SDCard cannot be used and may cause some unexpected errors.

With DarkTremor A2SD method, your phone considers Ext partition as "internal storage" (/system/sd). Ext partition will not be "scanned for error" at booting or mounted by PC. That means, your apps are totally safe, real safe!

...Hello to everyone

I am completely novice ...and of course completely confused ..most likely I am now something like "Alice in Wonderland" or "Virus in Linux"

I have Legend ..great phone ...read to many articles here and who knows where else ...

...so .. I need one explanation:
...to use one of provided ROM, I need to root my phone ... to root it, I need to downgrade it first ...after root-ing I can use one of ROM-s??

...how HTC do that upgrade to Froyo??
/presume that they will not root phone, whipe it with erasing all my data, and creating golden card with several partition on it ... all that stuff which scary me..../

It will be very helpfully if somebody of You /admin-mod probably/ can make sticky thread with step-by-step and how to guide ... for every topic concerned to this isue...

I know that all this is covered on this forum /which is really great and helpful/ but it will be nice if we have one sticky thread with all steps and explanation... one one place

believe me, right now I am confused and have not courage to try to go further ..and I am sure that I print several hundred pages of guides and steps ...and ..just to make smile on Your face ... only thing which I do is creating "Golden card" ...
