I am sorry to ask, but what do you mean with Radio update and not in the ROM. Nothing to do with FM radio?

OK, battery icon has changed but bootanimation is still vodafone. I tried to replace /data/local/bootanimation.zip manually with "Pulse"'s one. But I still see vodafone on boot. Your patch1.zip has the same path for this file so I think it is the right path. Sounds strange. Vodafone bootup is not here on my phone.. Otherwise.. There is a .gif animation in the customize/resources/ (system\customize\resource\splash1_HTC_Branding_320x480.gif)
Try using adb to remove this file..
U left it there sinse it didn't take up much space, and it f**ked up when I tried to remove the file ...
Just rebooted... and I do NOT see the vodafone screen (never did after this release) ... might be if you didn't wipe before installing this one?

It looks like Rom Manager isn't working anymore. When I select a Rom to install of reboor into recovery, nothing happens...

if my suggestion is acceptable: please add one radio-update.zip for guys wants to update radio to froyo radio . but i think now the rom without radio is reasonable.

i was using the same rom as this. the one you made before this wwe was released.
so i flash this rom, flash the patch, flash the new radio?
or is the radio the new one already?

I wiped before I flashed this ROM (non-A2SD version) but not before A2SD version. I've now deleted splash1_HTC_Branding_320x480.gif and HTC_Legend_VF_Start_ani.gif. Now it boots with a black screen. I give your bootanimation.zip a chance and if it still don't work I take the simple HTC screen (works if I only delete the vodafone GIF).
EDIT:
No, your bootanimation.zip from PATCH1.zip doesn't work, too. OK, I leave it now as it is. I boot my phone very rarly, so it's not really important.

Never installed Paul version so I really don't know what is in his version - do I will not be able to tell the difference.. Maybe someone else can tell us?
