Any ideas?

I am rooted and up to date with radio, using rom manager\clockwork.
I have a few rom's under my belt, never encountered an error till now.
comming from a rooted cellcom branded rom (with sense of course) i get an error "write_raw_image PACKEGE:boot.img"
on this rom its on line 80, on the modaco i get it in line 72, but its the same error.
what could be doing that?
burned signed roms and cm's today with no probs.

Great work buddy... appreciate it very much.

Thats why we hate HTC... how hard is it to roll them out, all at the same time... perhaps they should start hiring amongst XDA elite..

Had som troubles installing it because Clockwork did not wipe before start. Dont know why, but it made the install reboot over and over when it was installed.

Wiped cache and data and installed again, and then worked :)

But god I hate the Sense UI. Yrk. Gonna' get that replaced soon!

Anyway, thanks for the ROM!

I'm afraid to ask, any way around that?
yes it has solution :
1- extract some module from boot.img for reducing size and put the in system/lib/module
2-there is some way to extarxting boot i know them in theroy but i dont know how could i start
3- some users same as me & u had problem during installing nightly rom of cm 6.1 after b26 to b33 . and developers of this rom solve our problem by reducing the size as above
but i don't know any developer at presenr ready to help us if they know how much we wait for froyo and now we are disappoined :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

The help will come.. Just take some more time... Time which I do not have today.. But I will see what I can do to compress the size of the boot-image in order to help you guys...

There's no solution in such case. You can't reduce size of kernel image itself. There also are no modules in boot.img. At least till the release of kernel source there is no hope for you except to return the phone and claim new one because of bad cells on NAND.

However there's a possible solution... but you have to have S-OFF hboot which we dont have yet.

EDIT: So wait for OTA for your CID and then make a claim at your retailer.

o_O and why you installed THIS rom instead one of the thousands available without Sense preinstalled?
This is the only ROM with the new kernel and radio for Froyo.

Anyway, it seem way more responsive than stock 2.1 and slightly smoother than CM6 nightlies. I get 915 score for quadrant which is not bad at all.

i have one question

can i use the oc kernels from this post "forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681165with" with this rom?
because when i install the 787mhz kernel which worked great on 2.1, my webrowser randomly crashes (it worked fine with the stock clocks) but everything else works

Hehe.. I could just pull the init-files and the kernel out of the boot-image ;) MUCH SMALLER :)
