i am able to bypass sahara errors by using other .elf (prog_firehose_lite.elf) file while flashing. but my phone is still in edl mode. it did not boot up to fastboot. any ideas on how to get to fastboot.

Jason would you please give me more info on Untversal R/W script? Where do I get it? Use it? Is it a Magisk script? Will it give me actual root level RW rights?
The link is no longer available bro, It was by a person called lebigmac who tested it with me and released it.
He eventually left XDA, so I'm not sure what's the latest progress of his work. Besides it was only compatible with that particular firmware I tested. Since then there has been multiple firmware which may have changed things.
I would suggest to look up on new R/W tools. I'm on samsung now, and hence using Afaneh's RW tools.
I tried this one - https://sourceforge.net/projects/multi-function-patch/files/RO2RW . While the returned info in the terminal window looked positive, no luck. The System level folders are all still RO in TWRP and Android. This is driving me nuts.

Yes, they are 100% correct, the devcfg doesnt matter if its rog 5 or 5s since the same ENG firmware was used for repairing both models i think, anyway, i have tested these exact files on my rog 5s with no problems at all, so no need to worry.
The raw firmware for Android 11 is included in the ROG5S.7z file (both CN and WW) to flash it you have to first install the ASUS Android USB driver included as well and located in the Tool folder. After that you boot your phone into bootloader mode (not the fastboot mode that you see in recovery mode) Power key + Volume up key, then connect it to pc with the side port and go to either WW or CN folder and use the flash scripts to flash the raw firmware, i recommend unsing the flash_raw_and_wipe_data.cmd script but it will wipe all your data so make sure you do a backup of your important files before you do this.

I have attached .226 and .229 as well. To update to .229 you have to first update to .226 from .221 and then you can update to .229. Note: RAW firmware can be flashed without unlock bootloader. I have also included the ROG5S edl repair archive, it has android 11 CN and WW firmware + ENG firmware and all the files you need to repair rog phone 5s + ROG5 edl repair archive is also included and i have also attached ASUS Android usb drivers for flashing in bootloader mode.

I want to downgrade from a13 to a11 so do I have to first downgrade to a12 then again to a11 or direct jump from a13 to a11 and also please share the link for the file to downgrade and also there is no risk of hardbrick or softbrick? Please answer this

You can directly flash the raw android 11 firmware (no need to unlock bootloader), i do not have the downgrade file that asus had on their website, they have removed it from their servers as well so links from asus wont work either anymore, i think the downgrade file from asus will reset your device as well anyways so its almost the same thing here. You should not run into any problems if you follow the steps correctly but if you do, i will be here to help you, Good Luck!

3HI everyone, i have reuploaded the ROG5S edl archive and i have added driver files and CN raw firmware, nothing has been modified, you can reupload if you want, i reuploaded this because it was removed and this is useful for ROG 5s users.

My storage is only 64 gb out of the 256 gb it normally has. Any idea how to fix this issue?
Edit, found the fix.
Step 1. I had to ensure that I made a back up of the 10 files stated in the instructions. This is important as not having these files will probably brick a phone.
Step 2. I deleted the extra partitions by setting the "erase all before download" and "reset after download" under "configuration" in the qfil app. Then I did the installation process using qfil.
It did not install correctly, but it was not the point of the process, the point was to delete all hidden partitions.
This deletes the 10 files from the phone as well (I think) and this is why the 10 files are important.
Step 3. I put my phone into edl mode via the reboot to edl .bat file you provided.
Step 4. I used the 0-update_image_edl.bat file to do the first part of the firmware installation process.
It rebooted and showed the page of the phones information. I thought this meant it kept all it's information, but this is a lie.
Step 5. At this point I placed all 10 files in the same folder as the restore.bat file
Step 6. I pressed the restore.bat file and it installed the 10 files.
Step 7. I then proceeded to do the second part of the installation by pressing the "flash_raw_and_wipe_data" file under "ww"
This installed the firmware and rebooted my phone. Now I have all my storage back.

Note:
If the process above doesn't work for someone else. The thing that might have fix my phone could have been changing the setting in the "partition setting" under "configuration" in the "qfil app" that actually deleted the other partitions.
I think I set "customize physical partition" and "active partition number" to 1.
I did this right after saving my 10 files and before using the qfil app to attempt to install the first part of the firmware installation to my phone. This process would replace step 2. on this post.1
