So I just need to flash the 1st attached zip in recovery? Sorry about this but its because I read that if you want to revert back the partition you need a stock Samsung firmware..

But the file you're telling me to flash is the one I flashed earlier and repartitioned my system.. I need to get my phone back to the original old partition, how would that be possible if I flashed the same file?

Oh you are right I'm sorry I thought it was the same file. So I just need to go to philz recovery and flash that 1st zip, wipe system, cache and dalvik and I'm good to flash any aosp ROM? I mean is it necessary to wipe internal storage too? BTW thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it.

hello everyone, i flashed the 1st zip in the op which is named "repartition_n7100_16gb.zip" i just wanna know is it possible to flash miui 7 rom on my device? its based on stuck firmware. i tried to flash it and it flashed successfully but when i rebooted the system it got stuck on samsung logo. i just wanna know if this happened because of the repartition file i flashed? and i dont know how to read the CACHE and PRELOAD files in the rom zip to know if i can flash it or not. any help would be appreciated. here's the rom link, its the last one under the author "gtbluesky" .. : http://en.miui.com/download-35.html

is it possible to reduce /sysem size in addition to shrinking other partitons as the ones only using CM roms (non-samsung), for them about 500-900MB is wasted in /system

Yes, but if you are going to install touchwiz rom, you have to wipe all userdata and system partition and repartition to system 2 gb again. I once create partition script that has 1 GB system of AOSP and CM based rom, but a person reported to me that he had werid problem. I didnt test it on my own device because I dont have time to backup and restore all data. So I removed that 1 GB system partitioning script.

1 GB system partitioning for AOSP/CM is not working as
psndna88, AGNI kernel maker test
"it seems we cannot change SYSTEM size, else the bootloader boots only into download mode"

Excellent script, working as the op wrote. I don't know if after repartition can use psndna88's scripts for formating as f2fs all partitions. If anyone knows or tried it let inform us pls
