Replaced Moto X Pure Screen Now It Won't Turn On?

I replaced my Moto X Pure screen with one from a 3rd party vendor to save some $ and now I'm regretting that decision. Took my time and made sure to get it all back together correctly and now upon pushing the power button, it won't turn on. The screen lights up and shows it's charging with the % when it's plugged in to the wall, but that's all it's giving me. Took it apart and checked the screen's ribbon cable - the connector clicks in positively. Could the screen be defective? Any other ideas?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue.

Anyone find an answer to this??? Have the same issue except my screen won't light up at all. It just vibrates like it's about to turn on when I hold the power button.
