Replacement Battery for my zenfone 2

Don't look like an official one, also what's the deal with the ones that say 3400mah instead of 3000?

Is that even compatible?

And that one says 2900mah instead of the OEM 3000, whats going on? wont using batteries with different sizes than the original be bad for the phone?

Aliexpress has both the 3000mah OEM and a few aftermarket ones. I got an OEM one from ebay. But I'm thinking about trying the 3450mah. It seems to have good reviews and it should last a bit longer.

Couldnt find an official OEM one with the asus logo in AE, as for the larger 3450 one I couldn't find any reviews at all and that brand LOSONCOER I found references to some "gold batteries" for other phones that are also larger than the OEM ones but the quality seems to be very bad

Bought 2 actually form different sellers, time stamped with when made etc

Says they are legit original but you know.

Must say though, works well and lasts a easy 24hrs, 5-6 hours screen time with WIFI only and works a treat on MM also.

One says 2015 which is the original battery and new one says 2017

The one i installed into phone was December 2016 so decided to put in the earlier manufactured one.

my battery was not charging ASuS said it was a problem with the charger - not true many chargers worked with other phones not asus - so dead phone now....

I'm having the same issue. The battery of my ZE551 got bloated last week, but here in Brazil I can't find the original battery, only chinese ones. Looked in Aliexpress and also can't find any original, and also i can't figure out if there any of these chinese ones that are good.

Basically if I can't get one of these good batteries is better to simple sell the phone off and buy a new one?

The official service center in Greece gave me a link to order a genuine battery since they couldnt sell me one themselves. Its the one is Asuspartsdoteu. Sorry about that but i cant post links yet.

Here is a aftermarket battery that I use and it's a higher capacity 3700Mah instead of the stock 3000Mah one ... as for your charge issue it would be the charge port or the ribbon that has you sim and sd ports on it since it has to pass through it to charge :good:
