has anyone tried the golden long lasting batteries and regular size sold in dx.com?

Since my original battery was gonna be weak, i've bought a "Polarcell Akku 2100mAH NFC edition i9195", from Amazon Store, € 15,99
Just charged, initialized and in use, i will post screenshot of first use.
I'm using s4 mini lte i9195, firmware kitkat 4.4.2 ucnf7 rooted, debloated, vodafone lte sim, always wifi/edge connected, mid daily use.
nope, I compiled only two versions GT-I9195 and 9190@junkyde
Is your kernel compatible with dual sim version (i9192)? I'm looking forward to swap the phone for this version, but I'd like to keep using extended battery, with your kernel of course![]()
I bought that one on eBay. Everything works (including NFC), and according to Battery Monitor Widget the capacity is really 2100 mAh.Max Biaggi said:Since my original battery was gonna be weak, i've bought a "Polarcell Akku 2100mAH NFC edition i9195", from Amazon Store
And you think the kernel is different on I9192? The only difference between the models is an extra SIM slot.nope, I compiled only two versions GT-I9195 and 9190
It will work, better with stock kernel. But it will drain battery very fast when around 20% left, because yours is smaller than kernel says.Junkyde I PM'd you. I am not that good with this rooting and kerneling but will the 6333MAH version you did be good for for a 5100mah phone?
but I should still get some amount of usage as I would with letting it drain and then turning on again to 50+% battery ?It will work, better with stock kernel. But it will drain battery very fast when around 20% left, because yours is smaller than kernel says.
Not sure what you ask... What I meant was that 6333mAh specified in junkyde's kernel is a 100% of battery. That is what kernel says. If your battery is 5100mAh it is about 80% of 6333mAh. That's why the phone will "die" when it gets below 20%. If not faster... I don't believe you have a real 5100mAh capacitybut I should still get some amount of usage as I would with letting it drain and then turning on again to 50+% battery ?
Simply flash it with CWM.btw what's the best way to install the vkinger kernal junkyde posted?

Does the kernel only work on CWM10.2?Not sure what you ask... What I meant was that 6333mAh specified in junkyde's kernel is a 100% of battery. That is what kernel says. You can always stick to the stock kernel and reboot the phone when it gets close to 0% of course. But it's annoying in my opinion. Plus this custom kernel gives you more pros like BLN as example.
