replacement for the fascinate?

anyone know what alternative phones verizon may offer for the fascinate by chance? i mean if you go through several refurbs with no luck?

Called verizon with my continued random reboots and bad battery life on my fascinate. I was shocked when i was given a droid razr as a replacement. Has verizon done this for any of you before?

When they were having issues with Froyo missing calls, there was a period when they would offer several current models as replacements. Usually the replacement was one of the latest models. At the time some of the choices were the Droid X2 and the Droid Charge. When ED05 came out they stopped doing this because ED05 supposedly fixed the problem.

The tech you got was probably an experienced one who remembered those times and knew that replacing with another refurb was pointless, so he sent what he thought was the best equivalent.

I think you got lucky you got a tech that actually cared enough to attempt to please the customer, which is rare indeed. I don't know if you consider the Razr an acceptable substitute or not.

Well considering i just lost my razr maxx due to water damage before the 4th im prettu happy right now. Im shocked she offered it as i never even mentioned it. I thought the most i would get is a dinc2 lol.
