If you are on any version after BOD5 pretty sure you will not be able to root or downgrade to kit Kat to gain root

No offense man, if you can't figure that out, you shouldn't try to root your phone. It'll go poorly then you'll have 64844890 more questions. Just read up on the stickies...How do I determine if I'm on BOD5 or greater?
Look bubba, I rooted my phone a year ago when I got it (and the previous 3 phones I owned) and that's the last time I did it. I don't do this every day so I don't know where every little "thing" is or how to do it in my sleep. No offense man, if you can't figure that out, you shouldn't try to root your phone. Yeah it's been the same method to find your build for every android phone since ever. But you can't find it all of a sudden, after rooting 3 other phones. OK good luck with all of that then.Look bubba, I rooted my phone a year ago when I got it (and the previous 3 phones I owned) and that's the last time I did it. Thanks for not being any help...
In the time it took you to write these emails, you could have just told me. But you would rather be an asshole. Ok check your build number in about phone and if you have BOE1 or BOG5 then you are out of luck. No root available for them, anything else is root-able.How do I determine if I'm on BOD5 or greater?
Finally got to checking this (busy week) and I see that I have BOG5. So, is this a temporary thing as in it hasn't been cracked yet, or is this more along the lines of the Galaxy Note and can't be cracked?Ok check your build number in about phone and if you have BOE1 or BOG5 then you are out of luck. Nope, sorry, OE1 and OG5 you can't downgrade because of the locked bootloader. But there is a good news that they may found away to unlock bootloader on Verizon G5, we just have to wait and see if they will in fact release the exploit.is it not possible to odin and downgrade OG5 to NCG?
Unfortunately it doesn't look like its coming anytime soon.Currenty it can't be cracked how ever, there is light at the end of the tunnel:
