Replacement screen quality

So 6 months later it finally happened, dropped my phone straight face down and the cover took so much force that it cracked the screen in the top right corner.

Ordered another one from Ali Express, for $70ish, and maybe I should have bought one that cost a bit more.
It says original, but I doubt that it is, the original one says something like visionox on the back, but the new one has a different name.

So after ripping the phone apart, and putting the new screen in, all is working perfectly, except when in low light. When the screen is below about 15%, the blacks bleed quite a bit when moving, and the lights kind of streak up the screen a bit, but over that, no issues at all.

How hard was it to open the phone and replace the screen?

The sale ad mention both lcd and amoled. If it is lcd that explains the quality difference.

Not too difficult, followed this video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vMvAmwEjiw , used a heat gun and a piece of hard plastic. Hardest part was sticking it back. Also used thin double sided tape. Had to pull it off once to add more tape.

Almost had a mini heart attack now ? Na it is definitely Amoled. Tested with a full black image, no light coming from the device.

Actually very strange that there is light going up the screen, as there definitely shouldn't be, as it isn't LCD.

I would love to find out why its doing that

I bought the one without the frame as it was a little bit cheaper. You have to stick the screen to the frame with double sided tape if you buy it without the frame.

You really don't need to order with the frame, if your frame is still okay...ripping the screen off is quite a fun process ?
