It doesn't trip Knox but it does show an unlocked padlock with the word "Custom" on the boot screen. I would think that would raise eyebrows at the Verizon store.

When you run the supersu it said need to update binary and I let it do itself and it ran fine.

Ok, I found SuperSU on the play store and installed it. When I ran it it said that the binary needs to be updated. So, I said yes. Then, it said Knox could be turned off so I accepted. Unfortunately, it eventually says "Installation failed! Please reboot and try again." I've rebooted and tried a half dozen times but can't seem to get the binary to update. I still have the "Custom" icon.

You need to go to chainfire's site (don't have the url) and download the latest version of SU. It'll update with that one.

I am having the same issue, both downloading the new APK and trying to update from within the app. even more frustrating is that supersu does not let you access the app itself if supersu needs updating.
