The final solution for Honor 6x BLN-AL40 (Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0):
1. Clean start: reinstall stock ROM over eRecovery
2. Install Google Installer (same here)
3. Install GMS Core
4. Restart :)

So, no bootloader unlock, no root required...
Just both "google installer" together :)

Does anyone have both update zips for BLN-24C567B360? The links on the front page require a decryption key to download?

Edit: Nvm just saw it a few post above mine lol

sorry for the noob question, I've have read the the forums and used the search function but What firmware files would I need to download use to update my honor 6x from marshmallow to noughat If it is available for Huawei Honor 6 plus PE-UL00. Iit's a china variant currently running Android 6 marshmallow and emui 4
Build number PE-UL00C00561. It initially came with emui 3 and Android 4 as the stock software.

Dont think that phone may have so many android upgrades. As you said it was android 4 and now android 6, thats done buddy and seems no more updates apart from security patches.

Thanks for the reply, yeah after further googling I was thinking that there were no more updates for PE-UL00 model, its just I saw some BLN models, which are newer than my model were about to get noughat I think. But thanks again for the reply.

BLN is honor 6X launched around 1 year back globally and October 16 in China and got Nougat in Feb 17. Yours is different model altogether

Very well mate. How are you?
Been busy lately in couple of critical projects so less active. Was supposed to get free by 28th but then few things got delayed and...
Been trying my best to help in free time or travel time. Just got few things in this thread that I could not catch up so OP is not updated with all useful info you shared as will have to login on PC to add all the things up.
For other threads, I am helping as much as I can on phone app. Will update this today may be during my office call that will last for 6 hours :)

thanx alot dude. But none of the method worked for my 6x BLN-AL40 andoid 7.0.. However, i used another method which solved the problem easily. I thought to share it for helping others:

This is the thread address. Two simple steps.. First I installed GMS core package from: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B64ADSfC5LHbMHdlZ2ZONVhXVWM

Then phone restarted, after that I installed play store from: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B64ADSfC5LHbNUtpOEU4Yklla28/view?usp=drive_web

and thats it.. Bingo.
Hope it will help others

Meanwhile, I have problem with another phone, that is Honor 6 EMUI 4.1 Android 6.. Their is no problem with GMS core. Play services and play store installs successfully, but doesn't start, just gets stuck with a white screen in the start up. Other softwares like utorrent and chrome also has the same issue. Please
help

recovery ??

hello sir, you can inform which recovery stock, I need to reinstall in this model.
I am currently in recovery twrp 3.2.1.
but I would like to have the stock tools, in case some day I decide to leave the device in original mode, thank you very much for your time and effort, greetings
