[REQ] Headphone safety volume

Is anyone willing to make a mod or is there any other way to disable the media volume being reduced when you plug in a 3.5mm cable?

I would like this also. I only ever use my phone for music in my car and I like controlling my volume on my stereo without "help" from the phone...

check out aokp, it has an option to disable volume protection in sound settings. I recommend it anyways, it is awesome.
