Hi guys, was looking at tablets at the store, and came across the sony s, saw it music app and fell in love.
problem is, i have no idea what's the name, or how to get it.
you can see what i'm talking about here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=I8UWiM-fGU8#t=337s (link is 5:37 secs into the vid, where he shows the app )

any chance someone can link me or give me more info? :) (i have an sgs2 & motorola xoom, and would love to have that app on both or at least the tablet)

cheers & thanks in advance

The video is demonstrating the Sony tablet's pre-installed, stock Music Player app.

I will not upload the files for you to download (it's a copyright thing, eh?). However, the names of the two files I think you need are MediaPlayers.apk and MusicVisualizer.apk and with a little work, you can get the files by downloading and extracting them from one of Sony's ICS (Android 4.0.3) system update files (for example, signed-nbx03_001-ota-120410004.zip). You can find the URL for downloading the update file for your region using stifilz's lists posted HERE. Then use condi's AiO tool (URL for download posted HERE) to create a decrypted_update.zip file from the system update file (from the tool's Main Menu, select "3 * Custom ROM and Flashing [SUBMENU]", then select "1 Create decrypted update.zip [+optional make custom]", choosing not to make custom). Once you have created the decrypted_update.zip file, use WinRAR (or something similar) to extract MediaPlayers.apk and MusicVisualizer.apk. The files are located in the \vendor\app folder of the decrypted_update.zip file. Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility for the outcome of your actions regarding this matter.
