nikybiasion in that thread I sent you the link to said he fixed touch and wifi but I couldn't boot into the rom because of this error:
Failed.

Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device') == "me301t || getprop("ro.build.product") == "me301t"
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sdcard/cm-10.2-20131202-UNOFFICIAL-me301t.zip'
@coolloser Was the touch in the kernel or was it a module. @nikybiasion In the kernel, but the problem was caused by missing idc files.

He said he was going to fix the assert error but he hasn't gotten around to it yet. He did post his source files.

https://github.com/nikybiasion/android_device_asus_me301t

Maybe that will help?

Ok so wifi still doesn't work, but it is a step in the right direction.

I don't really understand what you mean by a little circle as a mouse though?

and again, the more logs the merrier :p
It acts like your finger is a mouse input and you have to drag and drop then click to do anything.
The touch can be fixed with missing IDC files apparently as mentioned in the other thread.
Gawd, we need our own forum... All the information for this tab is so spread out! Lol

Sent from a non-Apple, PACman device.

Sorry this is a painstaking process, but without a device I cannot test it out myself. Please try this one and again flash after flashing GRIMLOCK_CM_3.0

No problem, I completely understand. I'm willing to keep doing whatever it takes to get it going. I'm just happy that you are at least working on it.

Boots just fine, touch is now working correctly but it still sticks on wifi, you can turn the button on put it still sticks at turning on wifi. Everything else works except auto rotation. It's stuck on portrait mode. Oh and for some strange reason if you hit the home button go into settings, when you hit the home button again instead of back, the keyboard pops up. No sure if it's suppose to do that or not but it is annoying because you have to push home twice or the keyboard down button. Also forgot to say, that when you do turn wifi on, the scan button and all the buttons except advanced are greyed out.

The keyboard popping up is actually from the launcher. It's one little bug the 4.4 launcher has on tablets. If you install another launcher it will not do that. Of course, we need wifi working correctly first LOL. Sounds like we are heading in the right direction though.

Still no go on the wifi. Yes, I guess I shouldn't be complaining about the keyboard, LOL, I should just be happy that the touch part is working correctly.

I should have paid closer attention when I read this thread at work, didn't realize you were working on Kit Kat for us lowly ME301T users! I was going to be content with CM 10.2 for now heheheh

This is now my favourite thread this week :D

Anything different that you noticed? This most recent one was with some extra files and the kernel that nikybiasion compiled.

No, nothing different. Just says turning wifi on and stays there. All the buttons are still greyed out. When I reboot to start the logcat while it's booting and go back to wifi I can't turn the wifi button on again but it still just says turning wifi on.

Uh, oh, did you give up on me?
Haha nope, I'm just not always in front of a computer. All the easy fixes that I tried which worked on CROMI and Grimlock didn't work, so it is back to the drawing board.

If you are running any other rom where it works, I would love to get a logcat of when your tablet boots up then as well so I can do some comparing.
