Haha nope, I'm just not always in front of a computer. All the easy fixes that I tried which worked on CROMI and Grimlock didn't work, so it is back to the drawing board.

If you are running any other rom where it works, I would love to get a logcat of when your tablet boots up then as well so I can do some comparing.
LOL, sorry for being paranoid. Here's the logcat while booting cromi-x 5.2.2

Nope, LOL.
Still didn't work but this time when I turn wifi on, the buttons turns on but it doesn't even try to scan for wifi. Just says if you want to scan turn on wifi. When I rebooted to do the logcat, when I go back to wifi it's stuck at Turning Wifi on... Oh, and the buttons are still greyed out.

Seriously, though, if you are tired of working on this, and you want to take a break, I will understand. I don't have a job or a life, so I can do this endlessly but if you want to work on something different for a little while, I say go for it.
Sometimes I obsess about things until I get it right.

Here is another one to try.

I know exactly what you mean. I do the same thing. But that's how I learn to do things.

Sadly, it didn't work. Stuck at Turning wifi on and buttons are still greyed out. Do you want another logcat?

I do actually. I really thought this one would work.

And we have LIFT OFF. It worked. Great job. Now we just need auto rotation.

You are my hero. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Don't thank me. Thank @nikybiasion for providing the file I needed.

Please test and report if there is anything else not working. A logcat of this would be nice too.

So you can't rotate the screen at all?

Am playing with everything now. No, rotation is stuck on landscape. The funny thing is though, when I opened Apollo, the screen rotated to portrait and then it stays in portrait and won't go back to landscape, then I went back into settings unchecked and rechecked auto-rotate screen and it goes back to landscape and stays there. Even if I reopen Apollo it stays in landscape.

Just to let you know. I have an app called Orientation Control and if I use it, I can use the setting forced portrait and it does rotate and picking landscape again will put it in landscape but auto rotate does not work.
