Actually S6 too has low powered CPUs. And plus it has AMOLED. So you can pretty much make it work for S6 with minimal effect on battery as long as the digitiser is off.
Yes, this is true. The S6 has low power cpu as well, one of the things I can think it supports is Svoice always on, and pedometer option, so maybe it is possible to enable on our S6 with minimal battery consumption using the low power CPU

Are you talking about that a53 cores which are quad cores?.. I am talking about really really low power like we have in watches very very small.
And i don't mean smartwatches just normal one

it will need to stay on when locked
access to notifunctions
and stay screen always on
Not a dev but I think it can be done if app is allowed to be a device administrator, and an user app can keep screen always on already.
There's noLED too. Maybe something like that but more refined. It doesn't have to be in phone's firmware. Just like there is Apps Edge in Play Store that has edge features that are the same as stock and it doesn't need root and works on any device.

Yup a device administrator permission should do it. But I would still prefer if someone could port it to S6 via kernel or something. Coz that would be more optimised on battery. As in low power CPUs will be used during that screen on.

Digitizer is on, drains a hell lot of battery.
But the app is good, I will keep track of the development, whenever its battery friendly, I will install it again :)
Yup. Probably the best way to optimise would be via kernel. Turn off digitizer. Use low powered CPUs and stuff. Because even in this app though it looks like the digitizer is off, it isn't.
