A single rule that all developers including franco follows; IGNORE THE HATERS & THOSE WHO DON'T RESPECT YOUR HARDWORK :)

I guess most new users forget one thing, and it's the main reason I do not agree with it (but I do understand it). The dev section was originially started as place for tweaked roms because source was not available. Even some themed tweaked roms appeared so roms also looked different compared to stock roms. You just can't say all themed roms do not belong there.
Even binary ports do belong there because you need to know how our rom works (dev knowledge)
I guess if we will follow the same thoughts for roms build from source, most roms were build using device an vendor folders from mik9, later adfad666 and now Lupohirps sources.
So no real developing there. (I know some changes to ported source are needed, but nonetheless following the same thoughts as expressed here).

And one other thing that is irritating me is that a lot of users agreeing here never developed anything and most of them only complain about ETA's and draining batteries etc. and never added anything usefull. I know we devs need feedback, but please... post usefull feedback and stop complaining about enthousiastics who take the time to play with android and learn from it, because that is how you learn to develop.

This idea was not meant to differentiate (in a bad way) tweaked ROMs. The main reason was to categorize and organize as there are too many (It's over 9000!!! as you are a dragonball z fan) ROMs in the development section. Having another section will help in the faster discovery of the user's desired ROM.

And as for my list, I already said that it was not my job to judge anyone's work as I have not developed yet, it was just for the ease of the moderators.

Don't get me wrong but I see no reason why this should not be implemented.

or a better idea is to make a single thread with all the roms or links to threads for the roms created by the user.this will satisfy both users and creators.just a ide though

section has been created and all the necessary threads moved to the correct section.
