Required blankflash for moto g4 plus after oreo update!!!

If the blankflash did work, please full flash the latest stock firmware, or do not use OTA updates until you have full flashed, else you may keep hard bricking your device.

Not working for me.
I think it's the same old blankflash.

Please read the flashing instructions, if you do not wish to lock your bootloader omit the fastboot oem lock begin/fastboot oem lock commands as directed (if you want to lock your bootloader, this will erase your data). If you wish to try to keep your data, also omit the fastboot erase userdata command.

Once you've flashed the Oreo firmware, you may receive an update to OPJ28.111-22-1, a small maintenance update.

If you choose to flash any older stock firmware, please do NOT use OTA updates in future. Only update by full flashing the firmware via fastboot.

I am using it now, can't help myself like this phone!
It's a backup spare with active service plan.
Finally got all functions working!

I flashed Thur adb
ATHENE_RETAIL_8.1.0_OPJ28.111-22_cid50
Then flashed twrp and installed Ex kernel and rooted it with Magisk.

Didn't have fingerprint at that point, PC showed it as a G4 . Flashed a fsg & hw img from stock rom 6.0, using terminal and dd commands.
It now shows G4 Plus.

Try to force start, by pressing power button for 2 minutes.

Or

Can you hold volume down &power at the same time, to get into fastboot mode?
If so do a full wipe and reboot, you will lose your data.
or re-flash the correct rom that match's your bootloader version.

Do not try to downgrade bootloader, it will brick phone.
You might be bricked if you can not get into fastboot mode.
In this case try lastest blankflash in this thread.

Even if i try to flash Nougat 7.0 stock (for retail) dont boot (the same with oreo) but if i flash 7.0 Stock with amazon bloatware , works perfectly

Amazon version is flashable, with amz version software ONLY. Bootloader is locked till the end of time.

My bootloader is unlocked. Amazon after months let Motorola unlock bootloaders.

Thanks a lot bro I too unbricked my g4 plus Indian version after downgrading it to marshmallow from Oreo then used OTA nougat update then bricked but now bcoz of your guide I got my phone back??

Which blankflash are you trying? Is this the Oreo OPJ28.111-22 version https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79714477&postcount=778

If you are using that blankflash, try different USB cables and USB ports. The blankflash may require multiple tries. Also, generally, this blankflash works on devices hard bricked by using old OTA updates (e.g. after downgrading). If your device has failed for other reasons, you may find this blankflash won't work.
