This is what these threads have turned into . I was hoping the 600$+ price tag of this device would bring the adults from the old nexus days back and remove all the kids but guess those days are gone . They don't get that this took time to make ,and time isn't free . sooner or later Dev's just will stop sharing there work for good.

@naxir just bought the app ;) . I skimmed threw the last 7 pages , and it said somthing about deepsleep not working ? Deep sleep is working here for me ,did i miss a post or just not read correctly ?
Deep sleep works, there's a issue where sometimes while the phone is in deep sleep, you need to tap the screen more than twice to get it to wake from deep sleep.

can anyone comment on the battery effect of this function.

not noticeable to user?
I'm running Greenify (Tap to wake isn't Greenified), doesn't look like it's creating any issues..it's been up and running around 10 hours now..Since 8 pm yesterday

Thanks for the support :) On the note of deep sleep, I have heard mixed reports. Some people claim that it doesn't affect tap to wake, but I have noticed myself that sometimes it does. E.g. if phone has been sitting undisturbed for a while, it may take three double taps to wake, but it may not. I'm not sure of the precise cause.

People have made some good points regarding the fact that this app requires root and source code wasn't published. It's a fair point, so I have published my source code on Github. Note that if you decide to view my code, realize that my experience lies elsewhere. The last android app I made was a simplistic to-do list in Gingerbread ;)

Something I noticed and its probably pure coincidence , I have far less "fails" when I'm holding the device in hand than I do with it laying down on say the table .

I have noticed that too. I assume that it's because the table absorbs more of the force you exert than your hand, so the phone's sensors will see a larger value reported.

Released v1.2. This is mainly a bugfix release to address crashes that would occur if you _don't_ have root. The functionality for people with root should remain essentially the same (minor cosmetic changes to the app). Those who don't bother upgrading, the application might crash on boot if root is removed.

It's being published to the Google Play Store, so those who have purchased it will get it automatically. This process usually takes a couple of hours.

If you encounter any problems, please let me know and I will be sure to correct them as soon as possible.

Keep getting parse error when trying to install
Strange, I've tried to repeat this on my own device, but I haven't been able to. Silly questions: I assume you're rooted but probably otherwise mostly stock? Also, are you attempting to install from the .apk or Google Play Store? Lastly, does it give any more information in the error message than that? E.g. where it might have occurred?
