Hello Android Gurus! I have a Galaxy S Fascinate SCH-1500 that WAS on their Verizon network. I haven't used it in maybe 6 months and i am IN CANADA!
I want to wipe it and reinstall from fresh state. But here is the kicker. Last time i did this in CANADA i had to wait until i got to the USA to get within their towers so it would update and install. There was also no way to call a number and have it install that way.
I want to use it as a basic MP3 player/digital alarm clock/screw around with and mess up toy. I now have a galaxy NOTE and i LOVE this thing!
If i flash it will it install the new ROM or will i need to connect to the network again. And if i do have to flash does anyone have a site suggestion to get a ROM? Don't forget, it is NOT CONNECTED to Verizon anymore. Suggestion? Advice?
