I am coming from a Galaxy s6 and I feel like it was much snapier than the Bolt. Any body else feel like they are waiting on the Bolt to respond?

If you are still unrooted and full of bloat yeah.. Some is just launcher differences between touchwiz and HTC sense.

Go to developer options and turn on high performance mode.

You can also increase screen transition speed to simulate a quicker experience.
