Restart issue

There are many threads reporting about the restart issue and there are solutions that NOT to use the power button to lock or unlock but thats not the actual fix i am interested in fixing the issue and i am also a victim of the reboot issues and this started when i installed 4.4.4 zip (not from the phone it was flashable zip by one of the memeber) and this problem started.

So can someone please answer the following questions

When did you purchase mention the month or which batch (consider the flipkart batches)

Did you had the same issue in 4.4.2?

Does it reboot when pressing power button and the reboot menu appears and it reboots? or it just freezes and reboots?

Installing custom rom helped? and if any user installed custom roms without installing 4.4.4 update do you face reboot issues?

you purchased phone lately i mean after many days of release not at the time it was releasedand You updated to 4.4.4 officially (i mean through phone not by any flashable zips bla bla ) and not facing issues?

and xt1023 and xt1021 users faced this issue?

Please answer and help as much as possible so that we can solve this issue since its a big headache for many users

adarsh i think you are new to xda , and never quote entire post it will be trouble some

and did you update to 4.4.4 by any means?

Sorry for that, im new to this.
Yeah i updated through fastboot method but not faced the reboot issue in stock rom. But faced sometimes on power menu but not as like as the cm11 rom by Percy_g2. It always reboots when long pressing powerbutton. and powermenu appears but if i go back or whatever i do it will switch of and reboot.

This issue is faced by XT1022 users who have updated to 4.4.4 and they got the device on april or mayt and installing custom roms wont solve the issue, and i just want any member who purchased the phone in april or may and didnt update to 4.4.4 , installed custom roms and did face

I suspect that the april/may batch phones with 4.4.4 update have the restart issue

I think u were right bcoz i orderd two phones one for me and one for my uncle with 2 days diffrence and he did not uldated to the 4.4.4 and running 4.4.2 and not facjng any issue.. :good:

and i have restored 4.4.2 zip and used it for some time and didnt face any issue and now installed carbon rom lets see what happens

I did purchased in may 2014, and updated in the 1st month. Then the phone worked fine till october, then started rebooting.
If anyone of u have find the solution please post here

I've restored my 4.4.2 backup and didn't find any reboot issues and install custom ROM and no reboots I would suggest to switch back to 4.4.2 and then install any ROM just by factory reset not by wiping system

I purchased on may 14th each and every rom facing restaring issue. At lollipop issue facimg when power button press for unlock and unlock swipe time, for 4.4.4. Restating issue at the time of charging, unlocking, power button locking. cm12 have least restarting problem but it still remains
