Hello.

I have a pixel 7 and i juste buy a galaxy flip 4.

I want to restore my data.

All was backed up on google one.

I don't find how to reste this backup on my galaxy.

Another question, which one is the most piwerful. The Samsung smart switch transfer or backup with Google one?

Thank you

Go for a clean hand load. I would not use SmartSwitch especially if going between manufacturers and OS versions. It doesn't save 3rd party app data. It can fail you miserably.

All critical data should be copy/pasted then verified for data size and readability. Apps that allow you to import/export settings, like Poweramp do so.

Before you begin make sure all critical data is backed up redundantly at least 2X on separate drives that are physically and electronically isolated from each other and the PC!!!

You are talking about that?

When i install my new samsung phone, the only option i have for backup or restore is samsung smart switch.

I tried 3 time after reseting 3 times my new phone...

I'm sorry, I somehow missed the prior posts. You're restoring from one type of phone to another. I thought you were restoring a Pixel backup to a Pixel phone.

You cannot restore a Pixel backup on a Samsung device. Some things should restore - apps, maybe texts and calls, etc, but no settings. Your photos are still available in Google Photos.

Then smartswich is the only way for a non root phone?

The problem is that it does not backup the settings and data of my apps.

Hand load it. If you don't upgrade or update the firmware that load can last years... without major issues. This N10+'s current load is now almost 3 yo, still fast, very stable and fulfilling its mission.

Again relying on SmartSwitch or its predecessor Kies is an accident waiting to happen. Then you'll be back to having to hand load it anyway, maybe missing a huge chunk of your critical data. It's not that big a deal and it helps you to familiarize yourself with the phone. Samsung's are full of features...

I don't know about restoring, but mine shows the Backup button:
    View attachment 5923655

But what's the point of being able to make backups if it's completely impossible to restore the backups?

And sorry but my question was about restoring not doing backup.

Understood, have you already tried Google? First result:
Back up or restore data on your Pixel phone
