On the phone it sekf it says Frimware update blah blah and the bar below. It shows normal download mode How ever once it gets to 9% it failes saying _PrepareAfterDload download
000000064
http://pastebin.com/T3mpRd8Q
at the end.
Your error shows that the port is set to COM10, not COM41 like it should. So when it tries to send the data, it's failing on the connection.
You will need to change this manually in Device Manager.

I have been running this since it came out. I really dont understand everyones problem with this. Maybe im lucky but my battery life has been great. And phone is very responsive. I am currently working on getting root. I feel using chainfires systemless roo will be the way to go. Im just firguring out how to inject it into our kernel. But all in all i have not found any significant glitches or peoblems with this build. And i use my phone quite a bit with brightness at full tilt. Anyways maybe im lucky. But i cant imagine my phone is the only one running this thats getting good results.

I had battery issues the first day but seems like it's playing quite nice now. Using wifi and auto brightness with moderate screen use, 21h 33 min used and 45% remaining. Getting about what I normally would.

Cool, that is more promising. Once root is taken care of this might be our next big thing :)

There's gotta be some way to downgrade. No fuse is getting blown. So this isn't some bootloader-level protection stopping you from flashing. Unfortunately I don't have this device so I can't tinker... but between LG Flash, the newly leaked LGUP, the codefire DLL and perhaps a newer LGUP_8994.dll from the H815 M KDZ... there should be a combo to get it to work.

As for root... Chainfire's systemless root isn't going to work unless you unlock the bootloader. Systemless root requires a custom boot.img.... unlocked bootloader is required to use custom boot.img's. Not saying root is impossible.... but it's not going to happen with a custom boot.img (without unlock). Unlikely that it will work by injecting system.img either (like current Lollipop method). It will require something new altogether... root somehow being used outside of both boot and system.

Thanks for the reply auto. Well im glad i did not spin too many wheels trying to make that root method work. Well i guess its find somthing new or unlock bootloader. When i flashed this it said qfuse on. Does this mean that the fuse is not tripped or vice versa?

This shows you're trying to flash ZV6. What happens if you try to flash ZV9 again?
And have you tried extracting/using this DLL instead? http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G4/LGUP_8994_DLL_Ver_0_0_3_23.msi
(Error is fail to open communications port COM41.)
I can access recovery mode it looks like and ill try that. and i get the same error with zv9

If you can get into recovery try to adb sideload the zv6 ota update.zip file. You will need the newest adb to work.

You can't make a flashable zip for stock recovery, we don't have the keys to sign a ZIP that would be approved.

To confirm, you're using LG Flash tool, the Codefire G4 dll, and your screen selections are the same as here?

(Edit: Manual mode should also be checked, forgot to do before I took screenshot.)
