I screwed up my S5 when installing xposed. it wouldn't boot so I wiped it via recovery. Now almost every app crashes. I haven't upgraded since I got my phone so I am running NCG. Can I just flash NCG and everything will go back to normal?

You can odin back to stock on any of the versions out there. Thread and files are in the general forum.
Here comes my second issue then. I am on a mac and my old windows machine doesn't work. Any alternatives to Odin or do I have to install windows?
