Here are some mirror links for the NVflash and NV Bootloader Drivers. I've bundled them into one .ZIP file.

NV Flash with NV Boot Drivers: (.zip file, 7.3MB)
HotFile:
http://hotfile.com/dl/120286801/ec1a0ab/nvflash_w_drivers.zip.html

DepositFiles:
http://depositfiles.com/files/9nql823l2

FileSonic:
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1172153574/nvflash_w_drivers.zip
That did more than the previous nvflash files I had did. At least this time it went through flashing the files and the device said it was in NVidia Flash mode. But now when I try to boot up the DS7 I get a black screen and the back, menu, and home buttons slowly fade in from the bottom of the home button up to the top. I can't get into the recovery or fastboot modes now, just APX.

Fireshaper, I'm no expert by any means. But I would re-download the image files P2 thru P22 and reflash it. 1) It can't hurt 2) One of the files might have been corrupt.

Past that, I don't know what to tell you. Someone with more know how will have to help.

Problems booting into CWM

Whenever I boot into clockwork I have 5 options.

When I click on update pkg a dell logo appears in the middle and the ds7 restarts into honeycomb.

I'm trying to go back to 2.2 from the custom honeycomb build by the awesome dj_Steve.

If it wasnt for the resolution issues id keep it on there. (Not being able to adjust the pixel density is hurting the experience)

I cant seem to get adb working, my windows 7 pc doesn't recognise the ds7 when I go into fastboot. Ive think its the usb drivers. I dont know that the sdk tool downloaded the right one.

Bottom line I am wondering if there is anything I can do before trying to restore my device using NVFLASH.

I have never had a problem flashing roms and even though this is my first post ive been on these boards since android on hd2 was a twinkle in the eye. I was able to get qdl working on my ds5 with no problems. Ive never had problems following simple directions

I implore this great community for some help now that I need some without the flaming. I hope Ive posted this in the right place. any clear instructions or help will be greatly appreciated.

This is how I got mines back and running after days of trying everything posted on th

1. I used NvFlash with all 14 partions.
2. entered fastboot and install the system_orig then the boot_orig and recovery_orig.
3. reboot using fastboot command.
4. your ds7 should reboot and stay. @ the dell logo. using the pin hole shutdown the ds7 then power it back on holding the volume + button and power buttons. this should take you into original recovery. hit reset data user only. all should be back to nornal tmobile boot animation will load and u should have an unrooted 2.2.2 original rom.
I hope this helps it help me after trying everything all i need to do was reset factory data (user only as to not erase your internal SD. good luck. and pm my if you need any help. you can the root thru fastboot with CWM.
enjoy

You use fastboot to flash system_orig, boot_orig, and recovery. For the NVflash part, just make sure that the 14 files are in the same folder as all the other NVflash files and run Recovery.bat, it will do it all for you.

Funny thing happened.....I have 2 dell streak 7's so i tried this method on the one that was running Honeystreak, and it worked!!! So i guess the other streak is just scrap metal. I will keep trying to see if i could get it working

UGH! I totally screwed mine up.

I ran the Flash.bat rather than the Restore.bat, which apparently flashed a bootloader - what bootloader, I don't know.

Anyway, now my Streak 7 won't boot. When I press power, the Beck / Menu / Home buttons light up, but nothing else happens.

I've tried going booting into recovery (power and volume up) and I get the same thing - illuminated buttons, no display, no boot.

I've tried going into fastboot (power and volume down) and I get the same thing.

I don't know what to do now. Help!

P.S. I don't know what I did with the Restore.bat. I can't even find it now. Anyone have it? In case I need it. It's not in the zip file I uploaded either.

OK, I managed to get it back into ADB mode and flashed all the P image files again. But I can't for the life of me to get my computer to recognize the device in fastboot so I can flash the other image files.

And I'm stuck at the Dell logo.

How did you manage to get back into ADB mode? Mine is stuck with just the soft buttons lighting up and my device manager says NVIDIA USB Boot-recovery driver for Mobile Devices.

Sorry. I meant APX not ADB.

I can get it into APX mode, and I can flash things to it. But it doesn't seem to matter how many times I flash the P images (not that I think reflashing would help, but I'm sure it didn't hurt). It won't get past the Dell logo.

It will go into fastboot, but my computer doesn't recognize it as fastboot. So I can't flash the original boot, recovery and system images.

OK, this is crazy. My Streak 7 is now booting up like normal.

What did I do to fix it?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I didn't have time to mess with it yesterday, so it basically sat on my desk, rode with me to work in my car, and this morning, it booted right up. WTF!?!

I don't know what the deal is with it, but I'm happy it is working.
