I'd say add the plugin and wearble to magisk denylist... Then try connecting,if it still gets stuck, try connecting through Samsung health, like opening accessories then selecting your watch3

Clear the data of the plugin and wearable, clear playstore and play services data, restart your phone, don't login to playstore...

Reset the watch as well...

Open Samsung health, go to accessories add watch and select the watch from the list...

If that still doesn't work, then I'm not sure what you might be missing, maybe Bluetooth library patcher since it's a rooted Samsung device

Hi,

I followed the instruction (kudos on documenting it so well!) and managed to install the mod on my Galaxy Watch 3. It measures the blood pressure, however I cannot make ECG feature working. Previously I had a simpler setup (followed this manual) which only enabled ECG feature. It worked fine back when I installed it, but today I realized that it does not react on my finger put on the top button (which again worked fine in the past), and would not begin measuring accordingly. I thought that it should have something to do with a recent update of watch software, and then googled and followed this manual (I also deinstalled the old software from both my watch and my phone, and rebooted both). Still, it measures the blood pressure, but no luck with ECG.

Any hints on solving that? Thanks!

That website is just sad...
Self-hosting files that have become over a year old, no credits nor reference to XDA, written as if he/she figured out the solution and steps, just sad...

Anyway, you should use the latest files from here (phone mod and watch mod)... after that, hide the Original shm on your watch from galaxy wearable -> manage apps and restart the watch so on-boot the stock shm on the watch doesn't run, open the shm mod on your watch and hit open on the phone and complete the steps and record an ECG...

If you still unable to test, turn off the watch, gently wash it under baby warm water, and press on the ECG probe several times gently(the button you rest your finger on), if there is any dust, oil or dirt, it should be gone... dry it with tissue then set it aside for 30 mins at least to dry on its own... after that turn it on and try...

Still not working, backup the watch and reset it, you shouldn't need to create the certificates again, proceed to install the watch mod again and try the ECG...

If it doesn't work, open the dial and enter *#0*# it should bring up diagnostic mode, check the sensors, they should show pass or numbers...

You're free to try installing the deprecated standalone ECG, if that doesn't work anymore, then the ECG probe malfunctioned (hardware failure) but hopefully not...

However i am facing a weird issue. The ECG is getting synced but BP is still not syncing. I am using S22 Ultra with Watch 3

The ECG never syncs,
It's only the BP that syncs,
I suggest you use the SHM MOD companion and use the BP sync enabler...

Follow the steps there and you should be able to enable it...

Yes, your are right bro, i mean ECG is saying ECG Data from Samsung Health Monitor and upon clicking its takes to Health Monitor. However, the value of BP is not showing up in Samsung Health. It is showing blank. Let me try again and get back to you. I have a few noob query though:
1. Should i restart the syncing process mentioned, like reset Samsung Health first and then proceed?
2. Is some setting to be done in then "Set Features" enabled or "Developer mode" which is enabled?

Aha, it's just a shortcut tile in Samsung Health that opens Samsung Health Monitor at ECG section...

The tool i developed does everything, all you need to do is configure the setfeatures properly, force stop and clear cache of Samsung health...

Run Samsung Health again and measure a new BP, it should sync afterwards...

    I have just started looking into phone shm (version 227) and here is what I observed on UI:
    * Malaysia & Thailand having BP & ECG enabled...
    * Luxembourg & Philippines both having privacy policy and terms of use but nothing obvious about BP or ECG...
    * more works on the icon to support shadows and so (and dropping static round icon)...
    * polishing to UI code (removing useless elements from elements) and seems BP & ECG ISO have their own container...
    * Added 2 Descriptions for BP & ECG (not sure where it will be visible till I patch and make it runnable):

    As for the functionality (Code), here is what I observed:
    * Message handler that was absent before, failed to sync to watch try again later (I think this is where the layout seems to spinning forever and after a restart, the app connects to the watch)...
    * New countries visible in CSCUtil, Macao (MO), Malaysia (MY), Thailand (TH), Philippines (PH), Norfolk Island (NF), Malta (MT), Luxembourg (LU)...

    OK so,
    NF is checked as isAUModel (Australia)
    MO is checked alongsiide HK in a new method called isHongKongRegion (China)
    TH has its own method isTHModel

    Nothing about the PH or MT or LU but it is possible to say they got partial support if not fully...

    what next:
    * they are changing font programmatically ("sec-roboto-light")...
    * BP and ECG results may look different as I spotted method fromHtml (used to add styling to text, such as color, bold, etc) in a TextView...
    * BP History Compare...? worth checking this one out...
    * BP is heavily modified (Code gone poof lol and new code replacing it or nothing at all)
    * ECG is modified same as BP...
    * I don't think there is a significant change in the UI (at least by just looking at the code)...

    And that's all...
    I don't see any change that is worrying me, so I should be able to apply the latest patch of 221 and it should work fine...

    I will try my best to patch and release this version whenever I get the time to work on...

    App will work but you will have value as 0 for BP & ECG because there is no hardware (no BP or ECG sensors & probe)

      The watch4 original SHM can't communicate with the phone MOD, and it's not possible to completly remove the original SHM from the watch4, so I had to create WearOS MOD and rename the previous MOD to Tizen MOD...
    2. Do I need root...?
      No root is required...
    3. Does this void my warranty?
      No it does not void the warrenty or trip the know or damage the watch or the phone...
    4. OTA effect on MOD & MOD effects on OTA.
      No Effects, the MOD is independant...
    5. Run_me.bat Java "main" errors and JDK15.
      Open CMD and type 'Java --version', if it doesn't say Java 15, then you will struggle with such error, uninstall any JDK and reinstall JDK 15, run the command again, you should see Java 15...
    6. Connecting to the watch isn't working.
      Firewall, antivirus, defender, anything that filters the internet can block the connection of the watch, so make sure to disable all internet security, if it doesn't connect yet, reboot the pc and the watch and try again...

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Updating Samsung Health may reset "set features" back to original values and this disables the sync, change them again to enable the sync and check the permissions of SHM MOD, it should be enabled as well...

    The steps are easy to follow, first, let's enable the set features on Samsung Health,
    1. Download from my Google Drive "SamsungHealth.zip" on your phone from inside the folder "Enable BP Sync"...
    2. Extract it inside the Download folder on your phone internal Storage...
    3. Check the extracted Folder and its contents on your phone, the path should look like "/Internal Storage/Download/SamsungHealth/FeatureManagerOn"

    5. Force stop Samsung Health, then open it, go to settings, then scroll down to about Samsung Health, now tap on the version till set features is enabled...
    to enable the developer mode on Samsung Health:

    Instructions in words, you will open Samsung health and go to settings then about, tap on the version till features and developers are visible. You will go inside the features and expand the "Health Analytics" set it to "DEV", then expand "DataPlatform" and turn On the "Developer Mode", when you hit back, Samsung Health will ask you to force stop the application and take you to the app info screen, you will force stop and clear the cache, this will allow Samsung Health to reinitiate a connection without security checks for SHM to sync BP with it...

    On SHM MOD, open the side menu -> Data -> Data Permissions and tap on Samsung Health, Make sure permissions are enabled so it would start syncing...!

    ~~~ Using latest Samsung Health on Rooted Device ~~~​
    Thanks to XDA @73sydney , quoting the solution for bypassing Samsung Health root detection, no more using Samsung Health MOD...

    • removes sakv2 from the line in system.prop (it will remove sakv2 from the line (hopefully) wherever it exists, beginning, end or middle)
    I had planned to test this new "fix" for a while before releasing the module to stop people from manually editing the existing file, as using magisk is preferable as its easily reversible, but once i saw posts on XDA about it, i figured id release this now

    As mentioned above, there may be side effects to this "fix", ymmv

    Note: You still need to make sure you have Samsung Health added to Magisk's Deny List, ideally with Shamiko installed (if using Shamiko dont forget to disable Enforce Deny List)

    I have followed his steps and generated unsigned TPKs, you just need to sign it...
    After signing it with Tizen studio, you either push it sdb or you can use the TPK installer which you decompile, place the tpk in assets and compile it again...

    Thanks for this Guide by @xxstd (download 1 to 3, don't use 4 or 5, use mine and proceed with the rest) for how to sign TPKs

    According to Samsung, The Samsung Health Monitor app requires a Galaxy Watch Active2 or Galaxy Watch3 and later models, alongside having Android version 7.0 and above...

    --- 21st Aug 2021 - Watch4 mystery is revealed after long hours of dedication and with the help of different amazing members on Telegram (specifically Italy, love you all and never forget 🤌🏻 lol) and on reddit, the shm mod and watch4 is working but the process is different than the tizen watches, the mod is still being tested and still looking to improve it a bit, it works only on watch4, I will release it when I think it's perfect and has no flaws, I say in a day or two...
    --- 17th Aug 2021 - More patches applied to SHM 1.1.1.153 and 1.1.1.151... I also made an installer that would push SHM 47 to the watch... I'm still investigating the matter in regards to the watch 4 detection issues through logcat of users, if I can't fix it, I will probably be able to do more when I get the watch on 10th of September...

I also removed from my Drive SHM 175 as it is deprecated, there is no use in having it anymore since you can't update from 175 to anything newer...
    --- 8th Aug 2021 - Fixed Samsung Health interference with Samsung Health Monitor, it shouldn't crash anymore and all SHM MODs have been signed with release-keys of my own, this will ensure that my work wouldn't be tampered with or Modified for whatever purposes, if you install an update of SHM MOD from other sources and it fails, that means it has been tampered with, not released by me...
    --- 7th Aug 2021 - Found out latest Samsung Health breaks SHM sometimes, workaround is uninstalling both, install SHM first, finish the profile then install Samsung Health again, DO NOT ENABLE THE SYNC INSIDE SHM DATA WITH SAMSUNG HEALTH... I will try my best to find time to investigate this and fix it... I also would like to add that "set features" was accidentally released to the public according to Samsung support, version 6.16 is the latest, I will investigate this as well to see if there is a solution, as a workaround, you can always downgrade Samsung Health, sync the BP and upgrade Samsung Health again... and finally, I did make a patreon page and I'd appreciate your support if you can, I believe that is everything in August for now...
